ARTIST BIO:

I was an Art in the Pen Exhibitor in 2018, also exhibiting regularly at Spot on the Wall at The Station, Richmond, and took part in the prestigious Staithes Arts Festival, September 2018. I have appeared in magazines, including "Paint", with my colour pencil drawing of a shopping scene in York, after being asked by the Editor to provide a tutorial for SAA members, the largest Art Society in the World. Since moving to Scotland in 2019, I was selected by The Yellow Door Gallery in Dumfries, becoming an exhibiting member. I also exhibited at Shambellie House in November 2019 where I ran a local Art Group I set up. I have since been elected to the Committee of the Dumfries & Galloway Fine Art Society, and have recently become the Programme Organiser. I currently exhibit at the Harbour Cottage Gallery, Kirkcudbright (The Artists' Town), and Gracefield Arts Centre in addition to TYD. I am the founding member of The Pinny Girls Facebook group, a collective of active creatives, who support each other, share ideas, information, and provide feedback on work. Last Autumn, I was spotted by Be Momentful and am now an Artist on the new Momentful App, which you can download for free. This Spring, I was approached by Vogue, who noticed my paintings on social media and I am featured in their Gallery in the magazine. So, my work comes with an official Vogue recommendation!
